Question: How having a pet affects a child? Having a pet is having another friend. It’s fun to play with, but pets are also important because they can be friends who feel happy when you are. Pets make people happy too. They can give people lots of love and it is a great thing to have.

Pet is an animal that calms people down. Just by looking at them, you can already feel relaxed. It will also make your pet happy if they see you are having fun with them. When pets are around kids they are less likely to bully others or fight with others because they can be friends with their pets. Pets make good team players too, sometimes the pet would think of ideas on what to play for example just like how a child thinks about his/her game plan first before doing something fun. Having a pet not only makes children happy but also helps them grow up well just like how parents help us grow up as responsible individuals.

Pet made some children become nicer and more responsible. They feel good about what they do to their pets because they think it is a way of providing things that their pet needs. It makes them appreciate other things in life especially those little things around them like the small rocks, or leaves, etc. Pets give children a sense of responsibility too. Parents should know how to teach children well about taking care of other people’s property by not hurting those who are weaker than us physically and emotionally.

When a pet wants attention from its owner it will show signs that it feels lonely or sad for example if the pet is crying or whining or barking which means that he/she wants attention from its owner so if you have a pet always make time to play with him/her every day so your pet will not feel lonely or sad.

Being a pet owner is great because it will help children grow up well and become responsible individuals. They should always show love and respect to their pets so they can have a healthy relationship with them. Everyone should learn the values of being a good person to other people, including our pets.

In conclusion, having a pet has many benefits for kids such as giving love and happiness, being less likely to bully others or fight with others for example by thinking before acting, becoming nicer and more responsible, etc… By teaching them about these things like how to show love and respect etc… Parents are the best ones who could teach them because if they understand what their parents say then most likely they will follow what you say which means they will understand what is right and wrong so when they grow up, they become responsible adults.

People who love to have a pet can choose from a wide range of pets such as dogs, cats, hamsters, etc… They should know which one would fit their personality more because each type of pet has different ways of showing their love for you which means some types are friendlier than the others.

Pet owners should always show friendship to their pets by giving them lots of love and attention every day so that the owner and his/her pet could have a healthy relationship with each other. Pets also help us become emotionally strong especially if we lose someone really close to our heart like for example your parents or someone who had been there for you through thick and thin. We should always be thankful for the things that we have now because some people are not lucky enough to have what they have.
